Raymond Weil Watches

Raymond Weil is a well-known Swiss watch manufacturer that was founded in 1976. Raymond Weil, its founder, used to be a designer for other watch manufacturers before he established his own company. In 1982, Oliver Bernheim, Weil's son-in-law, joined the company and became responsible in the marketing and communications departments of Raymond Weil.

Raymond Weil Watches

In 1983, Raymond Weil released the first of its collections, the Amadeus collection. In 1986, the company released the Othello collection to celebrate their 10th anniversary. The Othello timepiece measured 1.2mm thick only. Other notable collections of Raymond Weil include Traviata, Parsifal, Tradition, Tango, W1, Don Giovanni, and New Parsifal among others.

For the ladies' line, the collections that Raymond Weil currently have are Shine, Parsifal, Freelancer, Don Giovanni, RW Spirit, and Tango. The Shine collection watch includes two interchangeable bracelets--one made of ivory shantung satin and the other one made of stainless steel. This watch has 109 diamonds placed on it. The diamonds are all 0.6 carats. The Parsifal watch has 52 diamonds, all of which are 0.20 cts. Aside from diamonds, the watch is made of stainless steel and 18 ct. gold. This watch also uses a quartz mechanism. On the other hand, the freelancer watch is round in shape, made of stainless steel with 11 0.05 carat diamonds around its dial. The Don Giovanni watch is also made of stainless steel with diamonds on its dials. This watch also uses quartz mechanism. The RW Spirit watch is made of stainless steel with diamonds and a rubber strap. This watch also has a date window at the upper part of the dial. The last of the ladies collections, the Tango watch, is also made of stainless steel and yellow gold with 40 diamond on it.

The mens' line has more collections than the ladies'. These are the Tradition, Tango, RW Sport, Don Giovanni, Tradition Mechanical, Freelancer, Parsifal, Nabucco, and "Don Giovanni Cosi Grande". The "Don Giovanni Cosi Grande" watch is made of stainless steel with an alligator skin strap. It has 3 chronograph dials that automatically wind. The Nabucco watch is also made of stainless steel with a bracelet made of carbon fiber and stainless steel. It also has a date window located on the dial. The Parsifal watch is made of stainless steel with a date window also on its dial. The freelancer is also made of stainless steel with a leather strap attached to it. It has also 3 chronograph dials and 2 date windows. The Tradition Mechanical is made of stainless steel with an alligator skin watch. It also has a date window located on its dial. The Don Giovanni collection is also made of stainless steel and uses quartz movement. The RW Sport is made of stainless steel with a black rubber strap. It also uses a quartz mechanism and has a date window on its dial. The Tango watch is also made of stainless steel with a quartz chronograph. It has a leather strap and a pink dial. Last but not least, the Tradition watch is made of stainless steel with a black rubber strap. It also has a quartz mechanism.

The Raymond Weil watches are also considered as luxury watches, however, sold at the mid-range market. Their watches are hand-made and quality-tested.
