Zenith Watches

Subtle elegance. Self-effacing luxury. Quiet sophistication. These are some associations that live up to the Zenith. Founded in 1865, Zenith arose from a congregation of highly skilled watchmakers that were not content with just crafting good timepieces. They were all about innovation and from this desire sprung Zenith’s. The company aims to target more discerning watch-wearers, particularly those who have a high regard for style and novelty alongside an appreciation of precise time-telling. With its diverse range of designs, Zenith’s line of watches provide ample luxury to varying tastes. Most notable about the brand is the fact that it remains to be among the few watchmakers left who still create their own movement. Thus, what seems valuable in the watch exterior, is just as precious as the inside mechanism. Geroges-Favre Jacot is responsible for this incredible invention which later on became known as the revolutionary El Primero.

Zenith Watches

Zenith’s approach is more emotional and it appeals to a rather poignant side of the watch wearer. A quasi-mystical story behinds its conception adds some old world flavor to its pieces. Much like other traditional mechanical watchmakers, Zenith also takes pride in the labor of love instilled into its timepieces. There is though, a heightened sense of sentimentalism that emanates through the watch, brought about by a rich background of craftsmanship. The brand has also been known to be more avant garde since it more often than not creates more progressive designs. Some even consider it a dress watch, apart from being a luxury watch.

Zenith is clever in providing a vast range of deigns for a vast market. It takes on more diversity and simultaneously tries to tailor-fit a particular watch style to a particular persona. Considering it is one of the oldest watchmakers in history, Zenith has proven its longevity and much can be accredited to the aforementioned El Primero movement that up to now, can be found in most modern watches. The movement is also manufactured in-house which means that quality control is always at its peak.

Its brand image on the other hand has also been kept consistent. Regarded by most as a form of status symbol, owning a Zenith timepiece fulfills a much more elevated personal need. It defines and asserts one’s achievements and place in the social arena. This is the appeal that is inherent in every Zenith piece. Like most luxury products, Zenith takes on a much more relevant role in the watchmaking industry. As insinuated by its brand name, it clearly demarcates its position in the market. Its wearers have more discriminating tastes and are not merely there to check the time. They want to feel that they’ve acquired something meaningful, something that would enhance who they are.  The beauty of a Zenith is undeniably exuded by the wearer himself. With utter class and sophistication, one really has to make a supreme effort to reach the Zenith.
